SPOKANE VALLEY, Wash.--The Spokane Valley City Council voted to change a small part of Sprague Avenue back to two-way traffic, after five years of one-way traffic along Sprague.

This one-way sign on Sprague will be taken down in the future after the Spokane Valley City Council voted to change a small part of Sprague back to two-way traffic.
In the future, traffic will flow in both directions on Sprague between Dishman-Mica and University roads. Traffic will remain one-way on the Sprague-Appleway couplet west of Dishman-Mica.
Sprague was originally changed from two-way traffic to one-way traffic in 2003. Some businesses over the last five years along the Sprague-Appleway Couplet have complained they have lost business over the years because of the one-way traffic, while most drivers have spoken out against changing the couplet.
The timing of the change has not been set yet.
