SEATTLE -- It's the most anticipated football game of the season, and it happens this weekend. Washington State faces Washington in the Apple Cup.

Kickoff between the Cougars and Huskies is scheduled for 4:30pm on Saturday at CenturyLink Field. CenturyLink Field is the home of the Seattle Seahawks, but it's also UW's new field until renovations are done on Husky Stadium.

This is the 104th meeting between the two schools. The Huskies lead the all-time series, 66-31-6. WSU has won four of the last seven rivalry games, including two of the last three in the Emerald City.

Washington State is 4-7 on the season, while Washington is 6-5 on the year.

The quarterbacks are a big story in the game. Marshall Lobbestael will start for Wazzu, because Connor Halliday is sidelined with a lacerated liver. Keith Price will take the snaps for UW. Nick Montana made the start last week for the Huskies, but he struggled in a loss to Oregon State.

The game will be televised on Versus, but we'll have full coverage of the rivalry showdown, including postgame reaction, on Saturday on KREM 2 News and KREM.com.
