PULLMAN -- The Washington State football team is through its non-conference schedule. That means Pac-10 play starts for the Cougars this weekend.

WSU plays at home against No. 20 USC on Saturday. Kickoff is scheduled for 12pm at Martin Stadium. The game will be televised on FSN Northwest.

The Cougars didn't fair very well against the Trojans two years ago in Pullman (the last time the two faced off on the Palouse). USC crushed Washington State, 69-0. That's the worst defeat in school history and it snapped a shutout streak that spanned 280 games.

Wazzu saw better results against Southern California last season in Los Angeles. Jeff Tuel, making the first start of his career, kept the Trojans in check. USC only beat WSU, 27-6 (a success in the eyes of many Cougar fans).

As we always do, we'll have full coverage of Saturday's game this weekend on KREM 2 News and KREM.com.

Watch for uncut interviews from Washington State's practice right here on KREM.com later on tonight.
