PULLMAN — Washington State football player Louis Bland has been arrested by Pullman police on suspicion of marijuana possession.

Police responding to a noise complaint smelled marijuana, then got a warrant and searched Bland's home.

Police commander Chris Tennant says they found a small amount of marijuana and Bland was arrested. He was fingerprinted and released.

Bland hasn't played for Washington State since 2009. He missed last season with a knee injury, and was scheduled to miss the 2011 season as well.
