PULLMAN -- Washington State basketball star Klay Thompson is leaning toward entering the NBA Draft, according to a report on Cougfan.com.
Citing Klay's dad Mychal Thompson, the website reports that Klay will likely put his name in for the draft, but he won't hire an agent to keep his college eligibility intact.
“It’s not 100 percent,” Mychal Thompson told Cougfan.com. “But if he did it, he’d be in a good situation.”
The website reports that Mychal is flying to Pullman on Thursday to meet with Klay to discuss his basketball future.
Klay Thompson averaged 21.6 points, 5.2 rebounds, and 3.7 assists per game last season for the Cougars.
