PULLMAN – After further evaluation, it was revealed that Washington State guard Faisal Aden suffered a left Anterior Cruciate Ligament (ACL) tear last week against Arizona.
Aden will miss the remainder of the season, and since he's a senior, that brings an end to his career with the Cougars.
Aden was second on the team in scoring with 14.5 points a game (ninth in the Pac-12), while shooting a league-best .894 (42-for-47) from the free throw line. Fresh off being named the Pac-12 Player of the Week, he tallied six points and grabbed two rebounds in 11 minutes of action in the game against the Wildcats.
Washington State (11-10, 3-6 Pac-12) looks to remain perfect in Pullman as it hosts USC (6-16, 1-8) on Thursday at Beasley Coliseum. Tip is scheduled for 7pm.
