Washington State was picked to finish last place in the conference. They earned only 61 points.

"We have work to do, but I think we have the tools," head coach Paul Wulff said, "We have the opportunity to really surprise some people and have a very successful year."

USC was nailed as the top team for the sixth straight season. They picked up 38 of 39 first place votes and 389 overall. California, picked to finish fourth, received the other first place vote.

Arizona State was predicted to finish second, their highest preseason ranking since 2003. Oregon rounds out the top three.

The Cougars start camp on August 5th in Pullman. They open the regular season August 30th in Seattle against Oklahoma State.
