Cougs on the court: Washington State (2-0) vs. Sacramento State (0-2) at 6 p.m. on Friel Court in Pullman. No live TV coverage.

Freshman shooting guard Klay Thompson has started WSU's first two games.

Watch for: Lots of Hornet turnovers. The Hornets were horrible taking care of the ball in their last game, a loss to UC-Riverside, in which their 23 turnovers led to 22 of their opponent's points. Sac State only returns four players from a 4-24 team last year and a group of inexperienced players that aren't familiar with each other should wilt under the pressure of a Tony Bennett defense.

Fear: Loren Leath's long range bombing. The 6'2" senior guard is averaging 17.5 points a game so far this season, including a 21-point performance on 5-7 shooting from three-point range in a loss to Fresno State.

Respect: Cougs at home in November. WSU is 32-0 all time at Friel Court in November.

Random stuff: WSU played five freshmen in their win against Farleigh Dickinson--Klay Thompson, DeAngelo Casto, Marcus Capers, Abe Lodwick, and Charlie Enquist... Friday night's game will be the 100th game that senior guard Taylor Rochestie plays in.
