SPOKANE -- Spokane Shock defensive back Terrance Sanders is the Arena Football League's Defensive Player of the Week and the Ironman of the Week.

He was handed the honors after a dominating performance in last week's thrilling 68-62 win against New Orleans.

Sanders intercepted two passes and recorded 8.5 tackles versus the VooDoo. One of those interceptions happened in overtime, setting up the game-winning touchdown.

Sanders also returned two kickoffs for touchdowns against New Orleans. He registered 182 all-purpose yards in the victory.

Spokane returns to action at home this week against Philadelphia. Kickoff between the Shock and Soul is scheduled for 8pm at Veterans Memorial Arena.
