SPOKANE -- After nearly two weeks off the field, the Spokane Shock return to action tonight against the Philadelphia Soul.

Kickoff is scheduled for 5pm at Veterans Memorial Arena. You can watch the game live on the NFL Network.

Spokane had a bye last week, but they're still riding a two game losing streak. They haven't won a game since May 14th against Dallas (71-49). At 4-7, the Shock need a win to stay in the playoff chase.

Philadelphia isn't doing much better this season. They're 5-7 on the year, coming off a 39-37 win against Milwaukee last week.

This is the first ever meeting between the Shock and Soul. Spokane won the ArenaBowl title last season, while Philadelphia won the crown in 2008 (the last season of the AFL before it went on hiatus in 2009).

Spokane is using its fourth starting quarterback this year. Former Eastern Washington star Erik Meyer gets the nod this week. The Shock acquired him last week from the Utah Blaze. Meyer was a backup with the Shock last season before an injury ended his year.
