SPOKANE -- The NFL Network dropped its AFL Game of the Week on Friday, so that means we're allowed to broadcast the Spokane Shock playoff game live on KSKN 22.
We we're originally told that we'd have to tape-delay the opening round playoff game against the Arizona Rattlers due to a conflict. That's because the NFL Network doesn't allow other AFL games to be broadcast during their Game of the Week (from 5pm-8pm). The contest between the Shock and Rattlers is scheduled to start at 7pm, so that forced the tape-delay. With the network dropping their game now, we will air the postseason battle live at 7pm.
Spokane (9-9) and Arizona (16-2) split their regular season series. The victory was the Rattlers first ever against the Shock.
We'll have full coverage of Friday's game on KREM 2 News and KREM.com.
