SPOKANE -- Brandon Thompkins is coming back to Spokane.

Thursday the Shock dealt for the former Spokane wide receiver. The move helps fill the void left by the team's 2nd leading receiver Kamar Jorden, who will miss Saturday's visit from Orlando while taking part in the Colts' rookie mini camp.

Spokane sent defensive back Josh Ferguson and defensive lineman Julian Miller to Utah in exchange for Thompkins.

In 2012 Thompkins caught 76 passes for 907 yards in 12 games, while logging 32 total touchdowns for Spokane.

The Shock host the Predators Saturday at 7:00 p.m.
