In his first game back as the Shock's starting quarterback Kyle Rowley kept Spokane in the lead for the majority of their visit to Arizona. But in the closing seconds, the Rattlers took away what could have been a pivotal win.

With five seconds left in the fourth quarter Nick Davila connected with Kerry Reed on a six-yard touchdown pass that put Arizona up for good, 57-53.

Spokane took a 9-7 lead in the first quarter on a safety. Andy Olson's team maintained an advantage the rest of the half. After leading 32-20 at the break, the Rattlers scored 16 unanswered to go up 36-32 on a 17-yard touchdown pass from Davila to Andrae Thurman.

Rowley hit Brandon Thompkins from 22-yards out to put the Shock back ahead, 39-36. They maintained the lead until the closing seconds of the game.

The loss dropped Spokane to 1-3 on the season, 0-2 in the West Division.

Rowley finished 26-of-40 for 271 yards, three touchdowns, and two interceptions.

Spokane comes back home April 14th, to host Milwaukee at 7:00 p.m.
