SPOKANE -- Former Washington State wide receiver Michael Bumpus is the newest member of the Spokane Shock.
Bumpus, the Cougars all-time leading receiver with 196 career catches, joined the 2010 ArenaBowl champions on Friday. He most recently played for the B.C. Lions of the Canadian Football League.
After his four years at WSU (2004-2008), Bumpus signed with the Seattle Seahawks as an undrafted free agent. He played four games for the Hawks in 2008, registering five catches for 48 yards and a touchdown. Bumpus was released before the start of last season.
The Shock begin the 2011 season on the road against the San Jose SaberCats on March 12th.
