SPOKANE -- The Spokane Shock announced today that wide receiver Charles Dillon has been added to the 2011 roster. In another roster move, Spokane placed wide receiver DJ Hall on re-assignment.

Dillon, 6-1 205, helped the Shock capture the 2009 ArenaCup Championship, recording 89 receptions for 1078 yards with 23 touchdowns.

Last season, Dillon earned a roster spot with the Green Bay Packers during training camp. He collected eight receptions for 99 yards in the preseason before he was ultimately released.

Prior to his professional career, Dillon recorded 52 receptions for 526 yards with four touchdowns as a member of the Washington State Cougars.

“Our roster is always changing and if we feel like we can get better we will do it. Charles definitely brings a higher quality football player here” Head Coach Rob Keefe explained. “He is a very aggressive football player. He’s a great tackler and he is extremely athletic. As a receiver, he has deceptive speed, runs great routes and he has big hands to come down with the catches.”

The Shock open the 2011 season March 11th at San Jose.
