SPOKANE VALLEY - With the Arena Football League season starting in a matter of weeks the motivation is pretty clear for the Shock, after failing to make the playoffs for the first time in franchise history last season.

Andy Olson's squad got back to work Saturday, and on Tuesday had their first practice in full pads. They kickoff the 2013 season March 24th at Cleveland.

Spokane went 10-8 in 2012, and returns some key players from that team. All-league kick returner and defensive back Terrance Sanders headlines the defense, with wideout Adron Tennell on offense. Quarterback Erik Meyer returns after having his season cut short by a concussion early in 2012, with Kyle Rowley no longer on the roster.

The Shock will be on display Sunday March 10th at 4:00 p.m. in their Orange and White Game.
