SPOKANE, Wash.--Seahawks mania gripped the Inland Northwest with Seattle headed to their second ever Super Bowl. One Inland Northwest couple is going to New Jersey to cheer on the Hawks.

The couple will get to travel to the game for a lot cheaper than most thanks to friends and family.

Mike Milanoski and his wife said they try to make it to as many Seahawks games as they can. Milanoski’s dad has season tickets.

"Whenever he chooses not to use them, I get to go over and use them,” said Milanoski.

He was not considering a trip to the Super Bowl even with Seattle’s strong showing all season long.

"Hadn't really thought about it until the end of the year when they were in the playoffs,” said Milanoski.

KREM 2 News calculated the cost on Monday to go to the game. The total was around $4,400. Milanoski and his wife will get there for much less.

Their tickets through the Seahawks season ticket holder lottery are $800 each. Both of their plane tickets are around $1,100.

"Kind of debated back and forth if we were going to try and sell them for profit or go to the game and we decided it was a once in a lifetime opportunity,” said Milanoski.

They will stay with friends in New York to avoid a hotel and get there early to make it a mini-vacation. Their focus will be on the game.

"It's just amazing to be able to put on the 12th Man jersey and be able to cheer with as many of the fans that are going to be at the stadium,” said Milanoski.

It turns out Milanoski is not the only one from his office that is going to the game. The owner of the physical therapy clinic he works for also plans to be at the Super Bowl.
