Thousands of Seahawks fans have gathered on South 188th Street in SeaTac this morning to show support for the team as they head to Super Bowl XLVIII.
The Seahawks invited fans to line the 1.1 mile route on South 188th Street starting at 46th Avenue South towards 28th Avenue South in SeaTac to show support for the team.
Paul Allen tweeted about the event, inviting fans to give the Hawks a "raucous" send-off.
Fans were encouraged to bring 12 flags, signs, Seahawks attire and and bring the noise as the team buses pass.
Meet at the intersection of 46th Ave. S. and S. 188th St. in SeaTac. The event starts at 10:30 a.m.
You can find parking at Tyee Educational Complex, Chinook Middle School, Bow Lake Elementary School, City Hall, Angle Lake Park and SeaTac Airport paid parking lot.
Due to construction, 28th Ave. South will be closed to pedestrians and non-permitted vehicles.
The Seahawks kickoff Super Bowl XLVIII against the Broncos at 3:30 p.m. PT on Sunday, Feb. 2 at MetLife Stadium.
