COEUR D’ALENE, Idaho--Sunday will have special meaning for a group from Atlanta, Georgia competing in their first Coeur d'Alene Ironman. Thirty-five athletes made the trip from Georgia to Idaho to compete.

The group, Teams in Training, is raising money Sunday for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. Competitors estimated on Friday that they have raised $220,000 for cancer research. Nationally, similar teams have raised $3.5 billion over the years.

This is the first Ironman Coeur d'Alene for this group.
