Indians use walkoff win to book playoff spot

SPOKANE, Wash. (AP) -- Austin O'Banion hit a walk-off single with one out in the 10th inning, as the Spokane Indians topped the Everett AquaSox 3-2 on Sunday.

Miguel Aparicio scored the game-winning run after he led off the inning with a single and advanced to second on a single by Tyler Ratliff.

The Indians tied the game 2-2 in the bottom of the ninth when Melvin Novoa hit an RBI double, bringing home Jonah McReynolds.

Reliever Noah Bremer (1-0) went two scoreless innings, striking out three and walking one to pick up the win. Ted Hammond (1-2) allowed one run and got two outs in the Northwest League game.
