SPOKANE -- Spokane Chiefs defenseman Corey Baldwin was suspended two games by the Western Hockey League on Thursday.

The suspension comes on the heels of Wednesday night's game against Kamloops when Baldwin received a major penalty for checking to the head and a game misconduct.

Baldwin will miss the Chiefs' games this weekend when they host Victoria on Friday and travel to Kootenay on Saturday night.
