SPOKANE -- The Spokane Chiefs released goaltender Michael Tadjdeh on Thursday.
The move leaves the Chiefs with three goaltenders; 20-year-old James Reid, 18-year-old Chris Sharkey and 17-year-old Mac Engel.
Acquired from the Lethbridge Hurricanes last November, Tadjdeh appeared in 13 games with Spokane and posted a 5-5-0-0 record with a 2.39 goal against average and .916 save percentage. In his two year WHL career, he has a 15-17-0-0 record and has played in 37 games.
Spokane will play their final two games of the preseason this weekend when they travel to Tri-City on Friday night and host the Kootenay Ice on Saturday at Eagles Ice-A-Rena.
The regular season starts on the road against Tri-City on September 25th.
