KREM 2 Sports Director Tim Lewis has all of Tuesday night's high school football highlights from the Greater Spokane League, to the Great Northern League, all the way to the Southeast 1B.
In the GNL, East Valley took down Pullman 28-20, while West Valley beat Cheney 21-7 at Roos Field. That means Clarkston, Deer Park, and East Valley are the top three teams in the league. The Bantams already secured a trip to state, but the Stags and Knights play winner-to-state games on Tuesday. Deer Park hosts Ellensburg at 7pm, while East Valley plays Othello on the road.
The Southeast 1B playoff picture is official as well. Pomeroy beat St. John-Endicott, while Garfield-Palouse took down Colton and Sunnyside Christian upset LaCrosse-Washtucna. St. John-Endicott, Garfield-Palouse, and Colton (thanks to the LaCrosse-Washtucna loss) all clinch a spot to the postseason.
Greater Spokane League/Columbia Basin Big Nine crossover games started on Thursday as well. Lewis & Clark beat Moses Lake 24-17, Mead held on for a 24-19 win against Davis, while Rogers won its first game of the year by taking down Pasco 28-20. Thew GSL/CBBN state play-in games all take place on Friday.
