St. Maries' wide receiver Jordan Stapleton came away with an incredible grab against Priest River Friday night. That was more than enough for him to earn the HS GameTime Play of the Week.
The junior pulled a would-be interception away from a Spartan defender right before it hit the ground. The catch led to a Lumberjacks touchdown, which in turn, led to a 25-6 St. Maries victory.
Stapleton's jump-ball will be entered in the HS GameTime Play of the Year vote, along with the other Plays of the Week at the end of the season.
Stay tuned!
