Cheney, Central Valley and Chelan all advanced into the state soccer semfinals with wins on Saturday.
In the 2A bracket the Blackhawks beat Toppenish in a battle of unbeatens at Joe Albi Stadium. CJ Skillingstad scored on a first half header to put Cheney on the board. He then assisted on a Forester Seipp goal that proved to be the game winner, as the Hawks advanced 2-1. They are on to Sunset Chev Stadium in Sumner May 25th for the round of four, beginning at 8:00 p.m.
After advancing into the second round with a win in penalty kicks Central Valley topped Davis in overtime, to get into the 4A final four. The Bears fought back from a 2-0 deficit with headers from George Herner and Chris Stokesbary. Stokesbary delivered the final goal in extra time to lead CV to a 3-2 win. They'll take the field again May 25th at 7:00 p.m. in Sparks Stadium in Puyallup.
Chelan visited Highland in 1A play. The Goats won 2-1, and will also play in Sumner Friday at 4:00 p.m.
