SPOKANE -- Rogers High School running back Luke Rogers wins the HS GameTime Play of the Week.

Half of the more than 1,100 votes went to Rogers' 74-yard scamper for a TD against Central Valley last Thursday. The Bears beat the Pirates 49-16, but the touchdown run was easily the highlight of the game.

Central Valley definitely didn't make it easy for Rogers. He had to slip out of a tackle near the line of scrimmage, break to the outside, and outrun the Bears' defenders. Two Central Valley players actually caught up to him, shoved him from behind, but Rogers was able to keep his knees off the ground as he dove into the end zone for the score.
