SPOKANE -- The Northwest Christian boy's basketball team is gunning for another state championship at this week's 2B state tournament at Veterans Memorial Arena.

The Crusaders are looking for back-to-back crowns, and they're sixth title in the last seven years. The only championship they didn't win since 2007 came in 2010 when Pe Ell won the top trophy.

Northwest Christian, which is 24-1 this season, opens this year's tournament against Lake Roosevelt at 9pm on Thursday.
