For Mt. Spokane High School, it’s simple. Beat Rogers Friday night; win the GSL title outright. More than 54 percent of you voted for the Wildcats/Pirates match up as the HS GameTime Game of the Week.

Mt. Spokane boasts an impressive 7-1 overall record while Rogers has struggled, winning just once in eight games. But an upset at Joe Albi Stadium would no doubt make the Pirates season.

Central Valley was the only other GSL school to have once loss entering week nine, but the Bears fell victim to Mead Thursday night 31-12. That gives the Panthers (7-2) the 4A league title and a share of the Greater Spokane League overall championship if Mt. Spokane loses to Rogers.
The Wildcats can stand alone at the top with a win. Kickoff is scheduled for 5:30 at Albi Stadium.
Join Tim Lewis and Chris Bach for extended highlights of the HS GameTime Game of the Week ,along with the rest of the prep football contests from around the Inland Northwest Friday night at 11 p.m. on KREM 2.
