There were several worthy options for the week six HS GameTime Play of the Week, but in the end, Mead's Dan Mattingly was able to stand alone for his effort.

Spotlighted on a Thursday night game at Joe Albi Stadium, the Panthers' junior tight end watched a Rogers defender tip Mead quarterback Andy Wetzel's pass in the endzone, then lunged forward to pull it off the carpet, millimeters before it hit the ground for six points.

Mattingly's effort helped lift the Panthers to a 63-34 win over the Pirates, and improve to a 5-1 record (2nd place in GSL).

Chris Bach announces the top play on Sunday from Friday night's HS GameTime show. At the end of the season, all weekly winners will be stacked against each other for you to vote on the Play of the Year.
