Late on Wednesday evening the Davenport boy's basketball team looked destined to win the HS GameTime Play of the Week, but a late push for Freeman's Korina Baker and MacKenzie Taylor changed their fortunes.

In thrilling fashion, the Scotties duo takes home the HS GameTime Play of the Week. They won the top honor by just 16 votes.

Baker found Taylor with a beautiful dish under the basket. Taylor made the bucket and was fouled in the process. The play helped lift Freeman to a 45-27 win last Friday. The pair combined for 22 points (Taylor had 14, while Baker scored 8) in the game.

Freeman plays Lakeside on Friday in the Northeast A District Tournament championship. You can catch the action at 8pm at Mead High School. We'll have the highlights that night on HS GameTime.

Every Sunday we reveal the options for the HS GameTime Play of the Week. Voting stays open until the winner is announced on Wednesday night at 11pm.
