Vote for the Week two Play of the Week
Week number two ran the gamut for highlights from defense, to offense, to special teams plays.
The first option is Mead's Wes Bailey taking what was supposed to be a squib-kick to end the first half, and running it 83 yards to the endzone as time expired in the 2nd quarter. The Panthers dropped the game to Central Valley, 31-14.
Option number two had Curlew's Dakota Drennan breaking four tackles on his way to a 58-yard touchdown run against Northport in a 55-6 victory over the Mustangs.
The third-and-final choice is also an 8-man play. Liberty's Gus Simmons returned an interception for a touchdown against Tekoa-Oakesdale/Rosalia, which turned out to be the game-winner in a 7-6 Lancers' win over the Nighthawks.
I think it needs to be clear, the HS GameTime Play of the Week vote CLOSES Wednesday night at 6 p.m. Last week, the vote more-than-doubled from just over 200 votes to nearly 500 after the deadline passed! So get to it early!
