After shattering the record for number of votes in last week's poll, we're once again asking you to vote for the HS GameTime Play of the Week.

More than 700 of you weighed in last week, and we want to top that number.

It's all about the defense as this week promises to be one of the closest votes yet. All three nominees are defensively among the best this season.

The first option is Sandpoint's Ben Hogan, coming down with an absolute ridiculous one-handed interception against Middleton in the first round of the Idaho state playoffs. That helped the Bulldogs complete the shutout in a 30-0 Sandpoint win.

Option number two has a play we've yet to see this season. Mead's Casey Monahan comes out of a Panther gang tackle against Southridge with the football and runs it 58 yards to paydirt. It was Mead's only touchdown of the game.

Third and final option is a small player making a huge hit. Columbia's (Hunters) Chris Carlson up-ends a Cusick player who has at least eight inches on him in heighth in the backfield to hault a Panther drive. The Lions took over on downs with the big play.

There you have it. Now it's up to you to decide which of these three plays deserves to be tops for the week.

We'll tally up the votes and announce the winner on KREM 2 News at 11 p.m. on Wednesday night and feature the play on HS GameTime the show Friday night at 11.
