SPOKANE -- There's a lot on the line for tonight's Gonzaga men's basketball game against BYU.

The Zags obviously want revenge from the 83-73 loss against the Cougars back on February 2nd, but there's also plenty of conference and postseason implications as well.

Gonzaga (21-5) and BYU (23-6) are currently tied for second place in the conference at 11-3. Both schools trail St. Mary's by one-game in the standings. A win for the Zags or Cougars tonight and a St. Mary's loss to Portland would mean a tie for first heading into the final game of the conference season.

A St. Mary's loss to Portland is unlikely (the Gaels are an 11-point favorite), so it's better to focus on the fight for second place between GU and BYU. The second spot in the conference is huge because it means a bye into the semifinals of the WCC Tournament. The third and fourth seeds have to play in the quarterfinals on Friday.

Gonzaga and BYU square off tonight at 8pm. You can watch live on ESPN2. We'll also have highlights and postgame reaction tonight on KREM 2 News at 10pm and 11pm.
