PITTSBURGH, Pa. -- Gonzaga freshmen guard Kevin Pangos has a few extra fans this weekend when the Bulldogs take on Ohio State in the second round of the NCAA Tournament.
Kevin's friends and family traveled all the way from Holland Landing, Ontario (about an hour north of Toronto) to Pittsburgh to see Kevin play. The drive takes about six hours, but they say it's worth every second.
Kevin's high school coach Brent Evans says they were excited to see the Zags land in Pittsburgh for the NCAA Tournament, because it was the closest possible city to their hometown.
Kevin's sister Kayla has even missed school to watch her brother play in the Big Dance, and his mom Patty even retired early from her job so she could watch all his games.
