SPOKANE -- The Gonzaga men's basketball team added another player to its 2010 recruiting class on Tuesday.

According to Scout.com, the Zags received a verbal commitment from Keegan Hyland. He's a shooting guard from South Portland High School in Maine.

The website describes him as "one of the premier shooters in the country." He'll join junior college transfer Marquise Carter on next year's Gonzaga roster.

Gonzaga wasn't the only school interested in the 6'4" 180 pound guard. Hyland received scholarship offers from Elon, Fordham, Holy Cross, Rhode Island, La Salle, St. Bonaventure, Vermont, and William & Mary.

Hyland's commitment comes just a day after Kentridge High School's Gary Bell, Jr. verbally committed to Gonzaga. Bell, Jr. is a member of the 2011 recruiting class with Skyview High School's (Nampa, Idaho) Kyle Dranginis.
