SPOKANE -- The 4th annual Adam Morrison Golf Classic returned to Wandermere Golf Course in Spokane Friday.

As always, the proceeds from the event's private auction benefit the American Diabetes Association.

Morrison posed for pictures with guests and signed autographs before teeing off.

The former Gonzaga All-American and 3rd overall NBA Draft choice in 2006, Morrison's professional career hasn't blossomed the way he'd hoped. After a solid rookie season with Charlotte, he tore his ACL and missed his entire sophomore campaign. The Bobcats traded Morrison to the Lakers in 2008, where he won back-to-back NBA Championships.

A free agent entering this offseason, Morrison says if he doesn't land an NBA job this year, he will retire from basketball.
