SPOKANE, Wash. – The Gonzaga University women’s basketball team moved up three spots to No. 22 in the Associated Press Top 25 released Tuesday.
The Bulldogs, who are 18-3 on the year, received 123 points, 17 points behind 21st place University of California and 21 points ahead of 23rd place Florida State University. The Zags garnered 48 extra points this week.
The University of Connecticut is ranked first with 900 points, while the University of Notre Dame and Duke University round out the top three.
Gonzaga defeated both the Loyola Marymount University and Pepperdine University on the road this past week to close out the first half of West Coast Conference play at 8-1.
