Former Gonzaga guard Grant Gibbs is considering three universities that he'd like to play for in the future. He's looking for a new program after he transferred from GU a little more than a week ago.

Gibbs told the Waterloo-Cedar Falls Courier that he is looking at Iowa State, Creighton, and Northern Iowa. He added that he plans on visiting NIU within the next few days.

"I like the (coaching) staff. I've known them for awhile," Gibbs told the Courier. "They're down-to-earth guys, and they play the style of basketball I know."

Gibbs said that he will visit all three schools before he makes a decision. He hopes to come to a conclusion by the end of June.

As a redshirt freshman last season, Gibbs played in 24 games for Gonzaga. He averaged just 9.3 minutes, 2.2 points, and 1.9 rebounds per game.
