DETROIT -- Former Gonzaga star Austin Daye is in the NBA, but he's not quite living the dream he imagined.
Daye told The Detroit News that this season is a "failure."
Daye, who is playing in his third NBA season, is averaging just 15 minutes and a little less than five points per game for the Pistons this year.
He's played in just 36 of Detroit's 57 games so far, and he's only made three starts. Daye is also shooting a career low from the field (%32) and 3-point range (%21).
The Pistons only have nine games left in the season.
