Senior Kayla Standish had to step up big two years ago.

Coach Graves asked her to replace the all-time leading scorer in Gonzaga history, Heather Bowman.

Not only was Bowman a WCC Player of the Year, she was also a local high school superstar at Lewis and Clark High School.

Those are some pretty big shoes to fill, but Standish did it.  She leads the team in scoring, rebounding, blocks and minutes played.

Standish says she’s proud of the legacy of her senior class, which is the only one in Gonzaga women’s history to go to the NCAA Tournament all four years.
