The Gonzaga men's basketball team received a commitment from 7'1" center Przemek Karnowski, who is expected to join Mark Few's team for the 2012-2013 season.
Karnowski made the announcement Wednesday morning, writing on Twitter "In the next season I will play in Zags uni! #GoZags #NCAA".
The Polish big man was a highly sought after prospect, some say would have been a McDonalds All-American type talent had he played in the United States. He averaged 13.2 points and 6.2 rebounds for the Polish national team in the 2011 U-19 World Championships in Latvia, including a 29 point, nine rebound performance against Croatia.
