A return to the NBA seemed a bit more probable following Adam Morrison's performance in July's NBA Summer League. On Monday the former Gonzaga star's shot at resurrecting his career got even better.
According to multiple reports, Morrison has accepted an invite to Portland Trail Blazers' training camp.
The deal doesn't guarantee anything beyond camp, but gives Morrison a chance to make an NBA roster for the first time since 2010.
In July Morrison played for the Magic and Clippers during the NBA Summer League, with the Mead grad averaging 20 points and five rebounds Los Angeles.
Portland currently has 15 players on their training camp roster, that's the maximum number of players a team can have on contract during the season. They open camp October 2nd.
