The life of a college basketball coach is a busy one, and summers certainly fall under that same description. Mark Few has decided to clear up his schedule, in order to focus on his primary obligation.

After serving as an assistant for the USA Under-19 National Team last summer, Few has withdrawn from the staff - led by Florida's Billy Donovan. That decision will free up a 24-day stretch that centered around a trip to Prague.

Few told Sporting News it would have been "selfish" for him to make the trip. Instead he can focus on the Zags who, after a milestone season, lost All-American Kelly Olynyk. Few is also short an assistant following Ray Giacoletti's departure to Drake.
