MOSCOW - There's no sense of a hangover from last week's loss to Eastern Washington among the Vandals. Robb Akey's club had a spirited practice Wednesday, as they continued preparations for Bowling Green.
In Idaho's favor is the presence of starting quarterback Dominique Blackman, who was held out of their opener against the Eags.
This week's visit to Ohio comes against a team the Vandals have some recent history with. Last season the Falcons came to the Kibbie Dome and grabbed a 32-15 win. In 2009 Idaho beat BGSU 43-42 in the Humanitarian Bowl.
The rivalry adds a little juice to Saturday's game, but for a club that's taken some lumps as of late, they need to win for their own well being more than anything.
