TULSA – The Spokane Shock moved up to spots in the Arena Football League Coaches Poll on Wednesday. They are now pegged as the fourth best team in the league.
The Milwaukee Iron share the top spot with the Jacksonville Sharks this week. This is the first time this season the Jacksonville Sharks have been on top thanks to their solid win against Dallas last Friday. Milwaukee won a close game against Utah that came down to a 2-point conversion for the win in overtime. The two teams are 5-1 this season.
The Cleveland Gladiators made the biggest move this week, jumping up five spots to No. 5 after a home win against Tulsa, while the Chicago Rush stay at No. 3 after the second straight loss this season to No. 10 Iowa.
Four teams dropped at least two spots this week. The biggest fall was the Bossier-Shreveport BattleWings, who dropped four sports to No. 13 this week after a close loss to Tampa Bay. Alabama also moves down three spots to No. 8 after a loss to Orlando.
The Shock return to action this week when they take on the Utah Blaze at Veterans Memorial Arena on Saturday at 7pm.
