Kyle Padron's time with the Oakland Raiders has come to an end.
The team broke the news to the former Eastern Washington quarterback early Wednesday afternoon. Padron signed with Oakland as a free agent after getting passed over in April's NFL Draft.
The Southlake, Texas native participated in the Raiders' three-day rookie minicamp, however with class still in session at EWU he was unable to take part in their first wave of organized team activities.
After finding out about the team's decision, Padron posted a message on Twitter that included, "Grateful for the opportunity, excited for the next!"
Padron played one season in Cheney, throwing for 2,491 yards and 17 touchdowns in 11 games.
