The Idaho Vandals football team has a tall task ahead of it this Saturday with a match up against the Warriors in Honolulu.

Coming off a 37-14 win on homecoming against New Mexico State last weekend, Vandals head coach Robb Akey says his team is "refreshed" after playing the previous three games on the road. In addition to playing contests in Mountain, Central and Eastern Time Zones, Idaho will add the Hawai'i-Aleution Time Zone to the mix this weekend.

The Warriors are having one of their best seasons in years, currently with a 6-2 overall record and perfect 4-0 mark in WAC play. Last season, the Vandals took down Hawai'i in the Kibbie Dome, 35-23 with both teams compiling 864 yards of total offense combined. Idaho is just 4-3 overall in 2010 and 1-1 in WAC play. The Vandals will need seven victories to become bowl-eligible this season, due to their 13-game schedule. NCAA rules state a team must be at-or-above the .500 mark to qualify. Idaho has six games remaining.

The game is scheduled for 8:30pm Pacific Time, and will air on ESPN's GamePlan pay-per-view service. Check local listings for channel information. KREM 2 Sports Anchor Chris Bach will have all the highlights on the 11pm newscast Saturday night.
