Former University of Idaho offensive lineman Adam Juratovac is keeping his football dreams alive in Spokane. He's now a member of the Spokane Shock.

He became the first player in team history to make the squad after an open tryout. He paid $60 to workout for the Shock right after the Vandals season came to an end.

Spokane loved what they saw, but Juratovac wasn't immediately available. The 6'3 306 pounder needed to finish his masters before he stepped back on the football field.

Once he was done with school, Juratovac joined the Shock. He's now played in eight games this season. His ninth will come on Friday when the Shock travel to Jacksonville.

After the season is over, if football isn't the path that the he chooses, Juratovac can continue his education. He was accepted to the University of Idaho College of Law.

For now, his eyes are set on leading Spokane to an ArenaBowl title.
