MOSCOW -- While most of our local college football teams started conference play weeks ago, the University of Idaho has not.
That changes this week when the Vandals travel to Louisiana Tech for their WAC opener on Saturday. Kickoff is scheduled for 1pm (PT) in Ruston. The game will be televised on regionally by ESPN.
Idaho (3-2) is coming off a bye. They last saw action in a 33-13 win against Western Michigan on October 2nd. They haven't played a game in Moscow for nearly a month. They finally return home next week against New Mexico State.
Louisiana Tech (2-4) can't be overlooked. They snapped a three-game skid last week by taking down Utah State in their conference opener. The Bulldogs have two wins, but they have a tough time scoring points. Louisiana Tech is averaging just 19.3 points per game (that ranks 99th in the country).
We'll have full coverage of Saturday's game between the Vandals and the Bulldogs on KREM 2 News and KREM.com.
