KENNEWICK, WA. -- Today Coach Adam Shackleford will be officially installed as the new Head Coach for the Tri-Citied Fever.

Respected throughout the league as a highly effective offensive play caller, Shackleford Averaged 60.8 points per game in the 2009 season, and set an Arena Cup record scoring 74 points in the 2009 Championship Game.

Adding to Shackleford’s list of impressive credentials is the fact that in the 10 Season history of AF2, Shackleford is the only coach to have 3 different First Team All League quarterbacks (Sauk 2005, Dietz 2006, & Davila 2009).

He has produced the Offensive Player of the Year in 2005 and 2006 (Matt Sauk &Rob Mager), the Rookie of the Year in 2006 and in 2008 (Brett Dietz in ‘06 & Sergio Gilliam in ‘08) and the Lineman of the Year in 2009 (Ben McCombs).

As owner Teri Carr said, “The Fever could not have found a better choice in the nation to help our franchise to achieve the goal of creating another championship season.” Clearly with the talented Coach Adam Shackleford leading the team, the Fever is in a great position for the 2010 season.
